Dotal New Material Achieves BRCGS Grade B+ Certification, Elevating Food Packaging Safety Standards

On October 22, 2024, Hunan Dotal New Material Co.,Ltd officially received its BRCGS Global Standard for Packaging Materials certificate (Issue 6: August 2019), achieving a Grade B+ rating. The certificate was issued by SGS United Kingdom Ltd, a globally recognized certification body.

BRCGS (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards) is one of the leading food safety certification standards recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and holds extremely high recognition within the global food industry【3†L2-L3】. This certification covers the production of plastic films and bags for food or chemical applications, encompassing the full process chain including printing, lamination, curing, slitting, hot stamping, and bag making. The audit was conducted on September 13, 2024, with the certificate valid until October 16, 2025.

This certification represents an upgrade from the company's previous BRCGS certification (Grade B), reflecting continuous improvement and optimization in the company's food safety management system. The company stated that it will use this BRCGS Grade B+ certification as a new benchmark, continuing to enhance product quality and safety management to provide safer and more reliable packaging solutions for domestic and international food brand clients.
