Dotal New Material Launches R&D and Production Base Project with RMB 300 Million Investment

On January 23, 2026, Hunan Dotal New Material Co.,Ltd's "Plastic Flexible Packaging R&D and Production Base Project" received official filing approval from the Xiangtan Municipal Development and Reform Commission, marking the full-scale launch of the company's new phase of capacity expansion and R&D upgrading【8†L24-L25】.

The project is located north of Jiuzhao West Road and east of Xiangshui Avenue in Xiangtan Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering a planned area of 80 mu (approximately 53,336 m²) with a total construction area of 68,543 m²【8†L25】【7†L22】. The project will establish full-industry-chain production lines including blown film, casting, printing, lamination, and bag-making, with supporting workshops for raw material and finished product warehousing, quality inspection, R&D and pilot production, and information management【5†L11-L13】.

The company had previously acquired the land parcel for RMB 23.20 million in December 2025【8†L22】. In March 2026, the project's master plan and renderings entered the public notice phase【8†L27】. Upon completion, the project will significantly enhance the company's R&D innovation capabilities and intelligent manufacturing level in the flexible packaging sector, providing more competitive packaging solutions for clients in the food, pharmaceutical, daily chemical, and beauty industries.
